BASES FOR ENSURING THE QUALITY OF TRAINING

1. General Provisions

1.1. OÜ Yebisu Eesti organizes work-related and liberal adult education in-service training.

1.2. OÜ Yebisu Eesti is guided by the valid legal acts in the field of adult education and other related legal acts and documents when organizing in-service training.

2. Conditions and procedure for ensuring the quality of curricula

2.1. The curricula are prepared on the basis of the Adult Education Act, the in-service training standard, and the guidelines approved by the Ministry of Education and Research.

2.2. The curriculum is based on the needs of the specific target group and the principles of output-based learning.

2.3. The curriculum shall state at least the following information:

  • curriculum name
  • curriculum group
  • the total volume of study, including classroom, practical and independent work. The volume of the curriculum is determined in the curriculum in academic hours. One academic hour corresponds to 45 minutes
  • target group
  • the purpose of the curriculum and learning outcomes
  • the conditions for starting studies, if they are a prerequisite for achieving the learning outcomes
  • study content, teaching methods
  • a list of study materials, if provided for
  • the conditions for graduation and the documents to be issued
  • a description of the qualification or study or work experience that ensures the competence of the trainer

2.4. Curricula are amended and supplemented on an ongoing basis according to need and feedback from training courses.

2.5. The curricula of public training courses conducted by OÜ Yebisu Eesti are published on the website together with the description of the training courses in the manner prescribed by law. In the case of in-house training, the curricula are published in accordance with the agreement with the client.

3. Conditions and procedure for ensuring the quality of trainers

3.1. The trainers have a professional education and/or work experience in the field they teach and preferably a professional qualification as an adult trainer.

3.2. OÜ Yebisu Eesti strongly encourages trainers to participate in in-service training and co-learning to implement best practices.

3.3. The results and quality of the trainers’ work are assessed on the basis of oral and written feedback from participants and clients after the training.

4. Conditions and procedure for ensuring the quality of the learning environment

4.1. The training courses are conducted in rented premises suitable for this purpose. The training rooms used comply with health protection requirements and are equipped with modern technology.

4.2. Public training courses are available on the website of OÜ Yebisu Eesti. It is possible to register for training courses through the website.

4.3. The size of the training groups depends on the content and form of the training. In training courses, a learning-supportive environment is created through an individual approach.

4.4. All those registered for the training will receive information about the exact organizational side of the training before the start of the course: schedule, training location or web environment, study material, trainer.

5. Procedure for collecting feedback on the training

5.1. At the end of the training, participants fill in a feedback questionnaire where they assess the content of the training, the lecturer and the organization of the course, and make suggestions for improving the content and form of the training. Oral feedback given during the training is also taken into account to improve the training.

5.2. The feedback received from the training is analyzed and, if necessary, changes are made for the next training.

BASES OF STUDY ORGANIZATION

1. General Provisions

1.1. OÜ Yebisu Eesti is guided by the valid legal acts in the field of adult education and other relevant legal acts and documents when organizing in-service training.

1.2. OÜ Yebisu Eesti organizes work-related and liberal adult education in-service training.

1.3. The training courses take place throughout the year, usually on working days, and if necessary also on weekends, in rented rooms suitable for study or in a web environment. In-house training is conducted in the client’s training rooms or in a web environment.

1.5. The volume of the training is calculated in academic hours (1 academic hour equals 45 minutes).

1.6. The training courses usually take place as group training, but individual training is also organized based on the needs of the learner or client.

1.7. The language of instruction is Estonian, Russian or English. The language of administration is Estonian.

1.8. The basic document of the study is the curriculum, which contains at least the following information:

  • curriculum name
  • curriculum group
  • the total volume of study, including classroom, practical and independent work
  • target group
  • the purpose of the curriculum and learning outcomes
  • the conditions for starting studies, if they are a prerequisite for achieving the learning outcomes
  • study content; teaching methods
  • a list of study materials, if provided for
  • the conditions for graduation and the documents to be issued
  • a description of the qualification or study or work experience that ensures the competence of the trainer

2. Conditions and procedure for admission to and exclusion from training

2.1. To participate in publicly recruited training courses, you must register in advance. You can register for training courses by phone at +372 525 3228, +372 5566 2951 or by e-mail at info@yebisu.ee or on the website www.yebisu.ee. Those who register on the website will receive an automatic confirmation to the e-mail address they entered upon registration.

2.2. Registration lasts until the number of participants in the training is filled, which may be different for each course depending on the form of the training. In case of low interest, OÜ Yebisu Eesti has the right to cancel or postpone the training, and those registered will be notified by phone or e-mail. If the training is cancelled for reasons attributable to the organizers, the training fee will be refunded.

2.3. Those registered for the training will be sent a confirmation by e-mail about the training at least 2 days before the start of the training. The confirmation states the exact time and place of the training and other necessary information.

2.4. Students who have been admitted to the study group and who have paid the tuition fee can start studying in the training.

2.5. Participation in the study is confirmed by the participant’s signature on the registration sheet in the first lesson.

2.6. Exclusion from training may take place:

  • at the learner’s request
  • at the initiative of the training client
  • at the initiative of the training institution

2.7. Exclusion from training at the learner’s request must be in a form that can be reproduced in writing.

2.8. Exclusion from training at the client’s initiative takes place on the basis and in the form previously agreed with the client.

2.9. Exclusion from the training institution’s initiative takes place if the learner has failed to pay the tuition fee or part of it despite repeated reminders. A notice of exclusion is sent to the learner in a form that can be reproduced in writing, stating the reason and time of exclusion.

3. Collection and processing of personal data

3.1. The following data is collected about learners for registration for training and for issuing a certificate upon completion of the training: name, personal identification code, e-mail address and telephone number. The personal identification code is required for issuing the certificate.

3.2. Personal data is processed on the basis of the Personal Data Protection Act. The transfer of clients’ personal data to third parties and the use of personal data for purposes other than those related to the training chosen by the client is permitted only with the client’s written consent.

4. Procedure for payment, exemption from and refund of tuition fees

4.1. The right to participate in the study arises when the participant has paid the tuition fee by the due date. The participant also has the option to pay for the training in installments, for which a separate agreement is concluded with the payer.

4.2. Payment for the training is made on the basis of an invoice before the start of the training. The invoice is sent by e-mail. The invoice must be paid by the deadline indicated on it.

4.3. The tuition fee for the training is established separately for each training. The tuition fee is not increased during the training; the tuition fee may be reduced by way of discounts.

4.4. When deciding on discounts related to the tuition fee, the number of persons registered for the training, previous completion of training courses organized by OÜ Yebisu Eesti, etc. may be taken into account.

4.5. In case of interruption of the training, the tuition fee is not refunded. Nor is the tuition fee waived, except in exceptional cases, in which case a request for exemption from the tuition fee must be submitted to the management board of OÜ Yebisu Eesti.

4.6. A person registered for the training can cancel the registration by e-mail to info@yebisu.ee at least 7 calendar days before the start of the training. If notified in time, 100% of the tuition fee will be refunded.

4.7. If you cancel your participation 3-4 days before the training, 75% of the tuition fee will be refunded.

4.8. If you cancel your participation less than 48 hours before the start of the training, the tuition fee will not be refunded.

4.9. If the participant has paid a 10% advance payment invoice and later cancels the training for reasons not attributable to the organizer, the advance payment will not be refunded.

4.10. The paid tuition fee can be transferred to another training.

4.11. In the case of in-house training, the client has the right to agree with OÜ Yebisu Eesti on a new possible training date.

5. Conditions for completing the training

5.1. The conditions for completing the training are set out in the training curriculum. A participant who has acquired the learning outcomes and passed the assessment will be issued a certificate. A participant who has not participated in the assessment or has not passed the assessment will be issued a certificate.

5.2. At the end of the training, a certificate or a certificate is issued. The certificate and the certificate shall state the following information:

  • the name and personal identification code of the person who participated in or completed the in-service training
  • the name of the in-service training institution and the registration code of the holder of the in-service training institution
  • the registration number of the notice of economic activities or the activity license in the Estonian Education Information System
  • curriculum name
  • the time of the in-service training and the volume of the in-service training
  • the place and date of issue of the certificate or certificate
  • the number of the certificate or certificate
  • the names of the trainers

5.3. Participants provide feedback on the training through a feedback questionnaire filled in at the end of the training.

6. Dispute Resolution Procedure

6.1. Any disagreements and disputes arising between OÜ Yebisu Eesti and the participant in the training shall be settled by the parties primarily through negotiations. If the disagreements cannot be resolved through negotiations, the dispute shall be settled in the Tartu County Court.
