"Trainer's training: output-based vocational training"

From December 9 to 13, 2024, our training course in Tartu, “Trainer’s training: output-based vocational training”, brought 12 Romanian education workers and WorldSkills experts to study with us. During the week, we shared our knowledge and experience with our Romanian colleagues on the principles of output-based education and their application in both vocational training and professional skills competitions.

The participants highlighted the professionalism of the training and the dedication of our trainers, Raili and Anu. They stressed that such training supports the development of the future workforce and promotes innovation.

The training covered a number of topics, the main one being the nature of output-based teaching and learning and its link to professional skills competitions.

The Romanian team was grateful for the knowledge and skills gained during the training, which will help them both as teachers and as experts in professional skills competitions. The training increased their confidence to develop and organize their own national professional competitions to a high standard. The participants also highlighted the importance of teamwork and a sense of unity that developed during the training.

The unity and dedication of the participants created an inspiring environment for meaningful learning. We look forward to seeing how the potential and experience of this team will help to promote vocational education and skills competitions in Romania.
