Yebisu Eesti’s new Erasmus+ international project “Landscapers’ New Competencies for Urban Greening 2” (LANECO2) has received funding.
New skills for landscapers for the creation of urban green spaces 2
While in the previous project we built a nature-based stormwater solution in Valka, LANECO2 will help to increase the digital competences of landscapers in relation to large trees in the urban environment in 2025-2026. Yebisu Estonia is creating a training programme for professionals and vocational training institutions on “Use of digital tools for urban trees”. The training programme and further project activities will be consulted by an expert in high-rise landscaping and maintenance from a Dutch science-based technology company.
The Estonian Association of Landscape Gardeners will organise a kick-off meeting in Tallinn to agree on the tasks, responsibilities and timeline of each project partner. A practical training on the use of digital tools for planting, transplanting and maintaining urban trees will be carried out for the teams of landscapers from the three countries in autumn 2025 by the Latvian Association of Landscape Architects. The Finnish Association of Green and Landscape Builders is responsible for the promotion and dissemination of the project activities and results.
